Jurij Mykolajtchuk, Law Offices of Jurij Mykolajtchuk
Jurji is a founding member of the Planning & Estates Law Project (PELP). He has advised, counseled and assisted low-income NYC residents with Surrogate Court matters pro bono for the past three years. Jurji also trained volunteers to competently assist low income New Yorkers with Wills. Jurij concentrates his practice on counseling clients regarding sophisticated estate planning, with particular focus on tax issues, and estate and trust administration.
Prior to establishing his own firm, Jurij worked as a trusts and estates attorney at some of the most prestigious law firms in the country. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jurij worked as a certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse and as an Assistant Vice President – Tax, at Citicorp. For his incredible commitment to the Project over the past three years and for selflessly bringing his expert knowledge to bear on behalf of low-income New Yorkers with Surrogates Court problems, the City Bar Justice Center awarded Jurji with a 2016 Jeremy G. Epstein Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service.
